Remodel AI alternative: LandscapeCraft compared
A credit-based option for homeowners who do not want a $29-a-month plan
Remodel AI covers more home-improvement tasks than we do, including virtual staging, wall paint and flooring. This page compares it with LandscapeCraft as of October 2026, using its website, pricing page and App Store listing. If your project is a yard, or a one-off room, a credit model may fit better; if you need staging or paint tools, Remodel AI does.

Where LandscapeCraft falls short
A comparison is only useful if it tells you the downsides too. These are the real limits of our tool today:
- No dedicated virtual staging, paint or flooring tools.
- A smaller free allowance, and free designs are watermarked.
- No iOS or Android app, no API and no team features.
- Fewer interior styles.
- Like Remodel AI, we produce images, not construction drawings.
How LandscapeCraft pricing works
Yes, you can start for free with no sign-up: every new visitor gets 2 free designs, plus 1 more credit for each daily check-in and bonus credits for inviting friends. Designs made with free credits carry a small LandscapeCraft.ai watermark. Purchased credits (a pack or a subscription) make watermark-free designs, and 1 purchased credit also removes the watermark from a design you already made. Every design or edit costs 1 credit. See the credits page for the full rules.
Frequently asked questions
Is LandscapeCraft cheaper than Remodel AI?
It depends on usage. Remodel AI's pricing starts at $29/month for its Pro plan. LandscapeCraft's credit packs are one-time purchases that never expire, so a short project costs only the credits you use. For heavy daily use, a monthly allowance can work out cheaper.
Does LandscapeCraft do virtual staging?
Not as a dedicated tool. You can upload an empty room to the interior design tool and choose a style, which furnishes it, but it is not a purpose-built staging workflow. If you stage listings regularly, Remodel AI is the better fit.
Do both tools change my room layout?
Both aim to keep the structure of your photo (walls, windows, doors) and change finishes and furniture. Neither produces construction drawings. Use the images to agree on direction, then consult a professional for structural changes.
Which is better for landscape design?
We have more landscape styles (22 against its 10 garden styles) and landscape-specific guides, but we have not benchmarked image quality against Remodel AI. Try the same yard photo in both.

The best test is your own photo
